DCHA Graduate Fellow Nicholas Strasser (PhD candidate, History), presented a portion of his project, “Death Rays and Pure Planets: Continuities in German Science Fiction in the Age of the World Wars,” at the German Studies Association conference in Arlington, VA. Support for his travel was provided through the Riggsby Travel Fund and the generous gifts of Katherine Riggsby and the late Stuart Riggsby, formerly dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and a distinguished biochemist.
