Berry Cave Salamander as an endangered species

Congratulations to John Nolt. Eight years ago John filed a petition with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to list the Berry Cave Salamander as an endangered species. The USFWS has now found that the petition is warranted. Coincidentally, the USFWS representative who called John to inform him of the decision on his petition was Peggy Shute; Peggy took environmental ethics from John in the early 1990s! Thanks to John (and Peggy) for their good work!
